NEW BREASTS NEW LIFE
What are Breast Implants?
The Breast Implant Procedure is a Cosmetic Surgery performed to enhance the size and shape of the patient’s breasts by using implants.
Who is the Ideal Patient?
The Breast Implants are the ideal procedure for patients who want to enhance the volume of the breast, with visible and almost instant results.
The ideal patient has 18 years old or more, with healthy skin, in case of sagging breasts, this procedure should be performed in conjunction with a Mastopexy.
Patients that have gone through a breast removal for treating or preventing cancer, are also ideal patients for this procedure.
How is it performed?
The patient must inform the cosmetic surgeon the desired volume. The cosmetic surgeon will determine if the desired results are possible according to his or her body type.
According to the patient’s needs, these can be implanted below or under the muscle.
The implants used at Molding Clinic are life-time guaranteed, FDA approved and made of cohesive gel, the newest and best material available for implants.
This is an outpatient surgery (also known as ambulatory surgery), which means you can go back home the same day of the procedure.
The surgery lasts around 1 hour and you must be on observation for approximately 4 hours.
Recovery is around 2 weeks long, and you’ll start seeing the final results between 3 weeks and 1 month after the procedure, once your body has completely recovered, but you will begin to see results after the surgery.
Although you may walk and do simple, regular activities the day after surgery, it is recommended not to do any vigorous activity between 7 and 10 days after surgery. You must attend to a check-up consultation 7 days after the procedure.
In order to obtain the expected results, the use of special garment is mandatory during the first 2 months.
Ideally it should be accompanied by ultrasound treatment, similar to the post-surgical massage, which is also performed in our facilities.
