RHINOPLASTY
NEW FACE NEW LIFE
What is a Rhinoplasty?
The Rhinoplasty is a surgery that modifies the shape of the nose in order to correct cosmetic issues. Commonly known as a Nose Job, it is one of the most performed surgical procedures in Cosmetic Surgery.
Who is the Ideal Patient?
This procedure is for patients over 18 years old that wish to improve the shape of their nose, or correct some of the most common cosmetic issues.
How is it performed?
This procedure can decrease or increase the size of the nose, change the shape of the tip, narrow the nostrils or change the angle between the nose and the upper lip. It may also be made to improve some medical issues.
This cosmetic surgery is performed mainly to correct the dorsal hump (the bone that bulges from the back of the nose), deviations and nostrils. It is a detailed surgical procedure in which the incisions and areas are selected according to the patient’s needs.
The Rhinoplasty is an outpatient surgery (also known as ambulatory surgery), which means the patient can go home the same day of the procedure.
The surgery lasts around 3 hours and the patient must be under observation for approximately 4 hours.
Recovery Process
Recovery is around 1 week long, and you’ll start seeing final results between 3 and 6 months after the procedure, once your face has completely recovered, but you will begin to see results around the 7th day after the surgery. You must attend to a check-up consultation 7 days after the procedure.
