TUMMY TUCK
NEW BODY NEW LIFE
What is a Tummy Tuck?
The Tummy Tuck is a cosmetic surgery that consists in the removal of excess of skin of the abdominal area. Additionally, a fat subtraction is made through LipoVaser®, which, thanks to its ultrasound technology, removes all the fatty tissues while protecting the rest of tissues. This fat is then injected to the buttocks.
Who is the Ideal Patient?
The Tummy Tuck is ideal for patients that have gone through a drastic weight loss, resulting in abdominal flaccidness and excess of skin. In some cases, patients that haven’t gone through a drastic weight loss can be prospects for this procedure if they have enough skin and fat to be removed.
How is it performed?
The Tummy Tuck is made through an incision above the pubic hairline, extending to the hips. The The Fat subtraction is made with LipoVaser® technology which, thanks to its ultrasound system, removes all the fatty tissues while protecting the rest of tissues. This fat is then injected in the buttocks (also called BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift) for a notorious result.
The size of the incision depends on the skin and the amount of fat that will be removed in the session.
For this surgery, you must stay 1 night in the hospital, which means you can go back home the day after the procedure.
The surgery lasts around 4 hours and you must be on observation for 1 day.
Recovery Process
Recovery is around 2 weeks long, and you’ll start seeing final results between 3 and 6 months after the procedure, once your body has completely recovered. You must attend to a check-up consultation 7 days after the procedure.
In order to obtain the expected results, the use of garment is mandatory during the first 2 months, as well as a special seating pillow for the first 3 weeks. Lymphatic drainage massages are recommended to reduce inflammation in a faster, more precise way.
