What is Vaginal Rejuvenation?

The vaginal rejuvenation is both an aesthetic and functional surgery, performed to reconstruct the vaginal muscles in order to bring back their elasticity and strength, as well as a hygienic, younger appearance.

Who is the Ideal Patient?

The ideal patient is a woman 30 years of age or older who has given birth naturally or with the passage of time has lost muscle tone in the area and/or wishes to give a better aesthetic appearance to that part of the body.

If the patient wishes to recover her strength and the ability to contract the vaginal muscles, this procedure is ideal for her.

How is it performed?

The vaginal Rejuvenation is a very meticulous procedure in which the cosmetic surgeon reconstructs the vaginal skin and muscles, removing the excess of skin and replacing the muscles in order to give them back their tone.

For this surgery, you must stay 1 night in the hospital, which means you can go back home the day after the procedure.

The surgery lasts around 2 hours and you must be on observation for 1 day.

Recovery Process

Recovery is around 1 week long, and you’ll start seeing final results between 3 weeks and 1 month after the procedure, once your body has completely recovered, but you will begin to see results around the 7th day after the surgery. You must attend to a check-up consultation 7 days after the procedure.

In order to obtain the expected results, and to avoid hurting the area or opening the wound, the patient must abstain from sexual intercourse for one month.
